The XDS MVIP High Density Conference board supports as many as 42 simultaneous conferences with a total of 128 inputs, making it ideal for use in larger conference applications. Each conference can have as many as 64 inputs. The board features a flexible multi-conferencing capability with the power to conference three people ten people twenty-five people or more. In addition, as many people as needed may be set up in the conference to "listen only." The XDS High Density Conference board is enhanced MVIP-90 compliant. The board is very easy-to-use, which makes setting up conferences extremely easy. This board may also provide soft hand-off between transmitters for cellular and radio uses. An MVIP-like command set allows for maximum PC driver efficiency. DOS, OS/2, UNIXWARE, and Windows NT drivers are available. The High Density Conference board shares the messaging scheme with all the other XDS boards. Software programmable memory mapping is available anywhere in the 16 Mbyte PC address space, and 2K of Dual Ported Ram is mapped in the PC to conserve I/O addresses and increase performance.
