XDS H.100 PCI Basic Rate ISDN "S/T" Interface Board The XDS H.100 PCI High Density Basic Rate Interface ISDN board provides 16 (2B+D) BRI ports. Each of these ports may be configured as either TE or NT on a per-port basis. The XDS H.100 PCI BRI board offers provisions for phantom power to the ports. A 32-channel HDLC controller allows data transmission over the B or D channels. Provisions for PS1 battery sourcing are also on-board. The XDS H.100 PCI BRI board includes DTMF generation and detection, along with call progress tone generation, and line energy detection. The board has complete protocol support for NI-1, AT&T custom, and Euro ISDN on board. TEI management, message buffering, and the LAPD protocol are also included. Windows NT and Unix drivers are available. The XDS H.100 PCI BRI board utilizes the proven XDS Infinity series processor, and features a H.100 compliant CTI bus. All firmware is stored in on-board FLASH ROM, which eliminates time consuming and error prone firmware downloading at boot time. The XDS H.100 PCI BRI board is designed to be compatible with other XDS boards, and other H.100 compliant products. AMTELCO fully supports compatible products from the multi vendor integration manufacturers. This makes it possible to construct a complex computer telephony system with a minimum of software effort.
