The AMTELCO XDS 2/4-wire E&M boards are designed to give your applications this capability. They are available in H.100 PCI format (8 ports) or H.110 CompactPCI format (16 ports). This board:
- Provides Type I or Type V signaling circuits, radio control circuits and 2 or 4-wire audio circuits
- Includes on-board DSPs that provide DTMF detection and generation, energy detection and call progress tone generation
- Also includes additional tone controls for radio supervision
- Can be used for PC enhanced service links to PBXs, for 2-way DID service, and for 4-wire audio circuits
- Utilizes on-board intelligence to handle line control, supervisory and tone signal functions with minimal host intervention

The XDS H.100 PCI 4 or 8-Span T1/E1/J1 or Primary Rate boards provide great density at a reasonable price. These boards:
- Provide for ARINC interfaces for satellite interfacing
- Support the QSIG feature for interfacing to QSIG-enabled PBXs
- Provide 24 channels of T1 mode with robbed-bit signaling support for Loop Start, Ground Start, and E&M
- Offer 30 channels of E1 or J1 modes with each span
- Are software-selectable as Customer Premise equipment (CPE) or Central Office (CO)
- Include complete support for ISDN Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols, as well as optional support for NI-1 Layer 3 protocol stack in Primary Rate ISDN mode
- Provide for DTMF signaling or detection, forward and reverse MFC-R2
