AMTELCO Announces NEW XDS H.110 CompactPCI 16-Port 4/2-Wire E&M Board

McFarland, WI - September 2002 - AMTELCO is pleased to introduce the new XDS Infinity Series H.110 CompactPCI 16-Port 4/2-Wire E&M board. This new board is ideal for H.110 CompactPCI developers who require E&M interfacing to analog wireless transmitters, PBXs, and central offices.

The new AMTELCO XDS H.110 CompactPCI E&M board can be configured on a per-port basis to support 2-wire or 4-wire Type I or Type V E&M. On-board DSPs provide DTMF detection, energy detection with call progress tones, and DTMF generation. Windows® 2000, Windows NT®, Linux, Solaris, and UnixWare drivers are included.

In addition to the new H.110 CompactPCI E&M board, AMTECO XDS also has E&M boards available in H.100 PCI, MVIP, and SCSA formats. AMTELCO XDS E&M boards utilize on-board intelligence to handle line control, and supervisory and tone signalling functions with minimal host intervention, making it possible for developers to use their valuable resources for their applications.
